Emily Pobuda facilitates the development of external corporate partnerships in order to bolster the annual programmatic work of American Forests. Her responsibilities focus on fostering and building strong relationships between corporations, people and organizations that are passionate about environmental conservation. Pobuda stewards current partners, collaborates on fundraising efforts and cultivates new partnerships to support reforestation efforts throughout North America. Prior to joining American Forests, Pobuda worked in corporate social responsibility at the Hertz Corporation, overseeing the company’s social impact initiatives, from volunteerism to charitable partnerships. Pobuda holds master’s degrees in public policy from Pepperdine University and international relations from the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals.
