Bridget Mulkerin works to build the capacity of cone collection and to create resilient forests across the state of California. She has previously served as both an AmeriCorps State National and VISTA in San Jose, California and Reno, Nevada respectively. Additionally, Bridget served in Peace Corps Senegal as an Agroforestry volunteer. Originally from the East Coast, she earned her undergraduate degree in International Studies from Fairfield University and a master’s degree in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute. Bridget loves connecting with AmeriCorps programs through her work at American Forests and working towards strengthening forest ecosystems.
