Becky Schwartz manages our urban forestry tree planting program. In her previous roles, she ran the community tree planting program at Casey Trees where she planted with volunteers and communities across the Washington, DC. She also worked in various Federal, municipal, and non-profit roles, most recently as a City Forester. She has a degree in Sustainability from Arizona State University and a Masters in Natural Resources and Environment with an Environmental Justice focus from the University of Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys playing taiko (Japanese drums) and giving impromptu tree tours to her wife and dog.
