Bjorn Erickson is a Reforestation Coordinator on the collaborative American
Forests/U.S. Forest Service team that is helping restore the Fremont-Winema
National Forest in Southern Oregon after several seasons of intense
wildfires. Bjorn is currently attending Eastern Oregon University where he is
studying Agricultural Entrepreneurship. He grew up in Southern Oregon and
Northern California spending hours on end exploring the Ponderosa forests. He
has worked throughout the Pacific Northwest in different aspects of foresty
such as prescription guided marking, regeneration layout, riparian
restoration and burn cite surveys. Bjorn’s knowledge will assist the
restoration crew throughout the Fremont-Winema.
