Bill has over 30 years of conservation non-profit experience and has served in leadership roles in several conservation non profits including: The Nature Conservancy, The Trust for Public Land, The Highstead Foundation, Maine Farmland Trust and One Tree Planted. Bill has experience in forest conservation, forest health, tree planting, forest restoration, and urban forestry as well as nonprofit management and fundraising. Bill holds a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Fairfield University and a Masters in Soil Science from North Carolina State University. Bill lives in Cape Elizabeth, Maine with his wife Barb and their dog and cat. Their son Kai and daughter Sierra also live in the Portland, Maine area.
