Zoë fell in love with Sierra Nevada ecosystems in 2018 and has been captivated by their beauty and intricacy ever since. As an Ecologist, she is deeply dedicated to conserving and restoring the iconic white bark pine forests of the Southern Sierra Nevada. With an unwavering passion for these ecosystems, Zoë develops and implements strategic conservation plans to ensure their survival, driven by a profound commitment to protecting their ecological and cultural significance.
With a bachelor’s and master’s degree in environmental science and policy, she advances conservation science through rigorous research and meaningful collaborations. In her current role, Zoë coordinates white bark pine conservation efforts across Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite National Parks. Her goal is to ensure the long-term resilience of these ecosystems through science-based strategies, collaborative partnerships, and adaptive management.
