Trey Lord is the Senior Technical Manager of the 1t.org US Chapter, a joint program of the World Economic Forum and American Forests dedicated to advancing the global effort to conserve, restore and grow 1 trillion trees by 2030. Lord provides technical assistance on natural climate solutions in an effort to help current and prospective 1t.org stakeholders and members to develop pledges, track progress on each pledge, and strategically grow the US Chapter closer to a dynamic global community. Previously, he worked and consulted for a number of international development and environmental organizations focusing on REDD+, climate-smart agriculture, and sustainable development. He has worked and lived in multiple countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Lord holds a Master’s Degree in Global Environmental Policy from American University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Georgetown University.
