As Senior Manager, Philanthropy, Rosalind Soltow supports the efforts of the Philanthropy team by ensuring operational alignment, facilitating cross-team collaboration, and supporting fundraising strategy and board engagement. She is passionate about connecting individuals to critical conservation work and inspiring them to make an impact through philanthropy.
Prior to joining American Forests, Rosalind held positions at the National Forest Foundation where she managed fundraising initiatives and supported the individual giving program. Among other roles, she previously served as Membership and Development Operations Manager for the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes in Cleveland, Ohio and was administrative assistant for the Environmental Studies Program at Oberlin College.
Based in Cleveland, Rosalind is a classically-trained musician and performs regularly as a violist with several orchestras across the northeast Ohio region. Her volunteer work includes serving as the president of the board of directors for the Appalachian Chamber Music Festival, based in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her husband and pets.
