Milica Koscica is the Director of Institutional Giving at American Forests, where she leads the strategy, engagement, and stewardship efforts with foundation partners to build a strong and sustainable grant program in support of the organization’s mission.
With over two decades of experience in nonprofit fund development, Milica is a dedicated advocate for environmental and social justice. Prior to joining American Forests, she served as Associate Director of Philanthropy for Corporate and Foundation Relations at The Nature Conservancy. Her career also includes leadership roles with a national civil and human rights coalition, as well as serving as Associate Executive Director for an international peace and development organization operating in Vietnam.
Milica holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from American University and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University. Originally from Serbia, she has lived and worked in Washington, D.C., New York City, and Seattle—and is now proud to call Portland, Oregon, her home.
