Danielle brings almost 20 years of leadership experience advancing urban forestry, sustainability, and community-based conservation programs at the municipal, private-sector, and federal levels. Most recently, she served as Regional Program Manager for Urban & Community Forestry with the USDA Forest Service, where she managed technical assistance, grant programs, and partnerships across the Northeast. Danielle previously held leadership roles with New York City Parks, where she helped develop the city’s tree risk management program and was on the leadership team for the landmark TreesCount! 2015 Street Tree Census. A certified arborist with a masters in urban forestry, Danielle is widely recognized for her expertise in urban forest management, stakeholder engagement, and program innovation. She lives in Ellsworth, ME where she’s actively involved in the local arbor commission and spends her free-time cold water bathing, hiking, reading, and cooking with friends.
