Carlo Davis joins American Forests as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining American Forests, Carlo was the Director of Strategic and Corporate Affairs for Chelan Public Utility District. Previously, he served as Chief of Staff and Communications Director at the Washington Department of Natural Resources, beginning in 2017.
Carlo brings nearly two decades of leadership experience across mission‑driven organizations and complex operating environments. He has held senior roles (including serving as a Senior Advisor to the Mayor of Seattle) overseeing operations, communications, policy, legal, government affairs, legislative strategy, and human resources functions. He is known for building strong teams, modernizing systems, driving ambitious policy agendas, and helping organizations break down silos to improve performance and achieve meaningful results.

Carlo received his undergraduate degree from Western Washington University and law degree from the University of Washington. He lives in Washington state with his wife, 18-month-old son, and two dogs.
