Forests are the best nature-based solution to slowing climate change. And trees, when planted in all urban neighborhoods equitably, help advance social equity by creating jobs and improving public health.

The Climate Stewardship Act would harness the full potential of trees and, more broadly, forests. It would result in 100 million new trees in urban areas and several billion new trees in large forest landscapes, all in the United States and mostly on public land, by 2030.

Saving lives. Slowing climate change. And creating new jobs. These would be just some of the benefits from planting more trees.
