For the fourth year in a row, Subaru is holding its annual “Share the Love” event to benefit five national charities. And for the first time ever, American Forests has been selected as one of the participating five!

Over the course of the “Share the Love” event (Nov 19^th-Jan 3^rd), Subaru customers who buy or lease a new Subaru can help the participating charities receive a share of up to $5 million by designating $250 to the customer’s charity of choice.

American Forests is proud to be a part of this special event, and when selected by a Subaru customer to receive $250, we will plant 200 trees on his or her behalf. Check out how these trees will affect your car’s carbon emissions.

As part of the event, at least 210 Subaru dealers in 43 states across the country will be giving away 35,000 seedlings from American Forests to customers who visit their dealerships. More than 15 different species of seedlings were distributed to provide each location with trees suited to grow in their region of the country.

Our planet’s health depends on forests to provide clean air, clean water and habitat for wildlife. Through our participation in the “Share the Love” event, we hope to plant one million new trees throughout America to help support a cooler, greener, healthier world for generations to come.
