One of the most ubiquitous assessment tools available today is the i-Tree suite, which is a state-of-the-art, peer-reviewed software suite from the U.S. Forest Service. The suite provides a variety of urban forestry analysis and benefits assessment tools, calculating a dollar value of ecosystem services by using equations to predict environmental and economic benefits.
