BALTIMORE, Maryland, is comprised of more than 225 distinct and unique neighborhoods.[1] In fact, Baltimoreans often call it a “city of neighborhoods.”[2] Over the years, these neighborhoods have experienced their share of racial tension and strife. But for many environmental advocates, these neighborhoods also represent a way to bring the city together for a common cause: the city’s urban forest.
