This project planted 1000 trees to establish a riparian buffer along the northern side of Asylum Run. The area was infested with non-native vegetation which was cleared in order to make way for 6 species of native trees. The location of this project is included in a 20-mile greenway which is managed in part by the Capital Area Greenbelt Association.
