Global Releaf Search

Year Planted: 2009
Trees Planted: 10,000
Location: California

The Sequoia National Forest will plant close to 7,000 ponderosa pine and giant sequoia seedlings. These species are well suited to the area and will contribute to the habitat diversity of poorly stocked areas, which now mainly have oak and shrub species.

This project was supported by our corporate partner, the Alcoa Foundation.
