This project is a part of a six-city 'Building Cities of Green' tree-planting tour undertaken by Eddie Bauer to commemorate their 100th birthday. 80 large trees were planted along a main street to create shade canopy, absorb vehicular emissions, and enhance wildlife habitat. A key feature was the planting of large trees around a new pedestrian plaza adjacent to Pitt Meadows' historic Recreation Hall.
