Mill Creek Stream Restoration

This project reforested both sides of an 1,800 foot section of Mill Creek Tributary #1. The riparian zone had been deforested for agriculture and was suffering from the impacts of deer browsing and invasive plants like wild grape and Japanese honeysuckle. 112 community volunteers participated in the project which planted 2,000 trees and shrubs of 23 different species.
