10 urban projects were completed in New York as part of the Texaco/Global ReLeaf Urban Tree Initiative which spanned from 1990-1997. Areas that hosted the projects included White Plains, Rye, and Harlem. 350 trees were planted including the formation of a new park in Harlem, NY.
