The Clearwater National Forest located in Orofino, Idaho is going to plant 150,000 Ponderosa Pines, Western Larchs, and Western White pines over 300 acres of land. The projecthopes to stabilize watersheds, reforest sites, and increase bio-diversity in the Palouse, North Fork, Lochsa, and Powell Ranger Districts in Clearwater National Forest. The Western White pines are blister-rust-resistant to help ensure a successful project and healthy ecosystem.
