People who go to Umatilla National Forest for recreation and camping will benefit from the planting of 3,000 seedlings in three high-use riparian areas. The planting of black cottonwood will improve water quality, which will help with the health of the indigenous fish population.
This project was supported by our corporate partner, the Alcoa Foundation.
