2012 Alcoa Foundation and American Forests
Global ReLeaf Partnership for Trees Projects

Through its 2012 grants, the Alcoa Foundation and American Forests Global ReLeaf Partnership for Trees is funding nine projects that span the globe, restoring forestland for the benefit of communities, wildlife and more. Each project engages local communities in helping the reforestation efforts, and combined, the projects are planting more than 270,000 trees across 388 acres in 2012 and 2013. Click on the individual project names below to learn more about each project, and congratulations to the tree planting organizations who received grants in 2012.
