With an initial group of 26 communities and 260 participant families, each family will work with their Sustainable Harvest International (SHI) field trainer to plant a total of 300 trees in areas of strategic interest such as protection of water sources, border of rivers, restoration of degraded areas and food sources for wildlife.Some of goals that this plan will help achieve include: the restoration and rehabilitation of flora and fauna habitat, protection of water sources, and to create opportunities of nutrition with options to the local commercialization among the among the families of participant communities.
