The fire quickly spread in the Pendola Ranch area, a parcel of land within the Tahoe National Forest. Close to 94,000 Douglas fir, ponderosa pine, and sugar pine seedlings will help reforest 200 acres of burned land and an approximately 150-acre area in former bald eagle habitat.
