This … Read More Year Planted: 2007 The Nevado de Toluca is a National Park and gives millions of Mexicans environmental services such as water, oxygen, climate regulation, biodiversity and landscape. This project planted 318 hectares with 300,000 Pinus hartwegii trees for fire protection and prevention, installation of a forest nursery and implementation of alternative productive activities for the local communities. This project will create 1,428 temporary jobs and will help to strengthen the local economy.
