This mountain, currently decreed as National Park under the name of ‘Nevado de Toluca’ is the life source for millions of Mexicans because for the environmental services (water, oxygen, climate regulation, biodiversity and landscape) that they provide to Central Mexico, the country’s most densely populated region.This project contemplates the reforestation of 170 hectares with 170,000 trees, fire protection and prevention activities, maintenance of 250 hectares of previously reforested land, the production of 170,000 Pinus Hartweggi, protection and surveillance in more than 569 hectares.
