The original proposal was submitted for a restoration project on Monument Street, MD before it was made clear that property ownership would prohibit Global ReLeaf from funding the project. The project was amended to fund two successful workshops aimed at developing green space on vacant neighborhood lots and industrial properties. 1000 copies of an American Forests’ ‘Quick Guide’ entitled ‘Federal Resources for Supporting Urban Forestry’ was also distributed to help practitioners find resources for restoration projects.
