Restoring four stream miles of the riparian hardwood forest through the planting of 10,332 aspen, alder and chokecherry will to help rebuild the trout population. Reestablishing the forest cover will help stabilize streambanks, maintain low water temperatures and increase species diversity. This project was also supported by the Bureau of Land Management, National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Forest Service and many volunteers.
