The… Read More Year Planted: 1991 In 1985 the Little Red Creek wildfire burned 550 acres of Muddy Mountain near Casper, Wyoming. The area is an important winter roost area for the American Bald Eagle. The area did not naturally generate so with the help of American Forests the Bureau of Land Management will reforest the area in a multi-year project. In the first year they planted 5,700 trees that are providing wildlife habitat, soil stabilization and prevention of soil erosion.
