A total of 9,500 trees were planted at the Creek and East fire sites. The vast majority of the burned areas from five fires were successfully reforested in 2004. With the support of American Forests the planting in 2006 will continue to restore watershed stability and accelerate development of forest habitat for the threatened northern spotted owl.
