Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado planted 2,200 containerized Englemann spruce,lodgepole pine, Bristlecone pine and sub-alpine fir at the top of Kenosha Pass, to improve the wildlife habitat and aesthetics of the area. A similar number of containerized seedlings were planted around a historic mined area to increase the viability of the Peru Creek watershed to support aquatic life again.
