American Forests and the Twin Valley RC & D planted 95 acres of mixed hardwoods and genetically improved pine trees on two landfills, owned by the Caddo Parish Commission of Louisiana, and on a detention center. At least 28,800 trees were planted which will benefit wildlife and be used for recreation.
