In the eastern counties of Woodruff and Monroe, Arkansas, The Nature Conservancy partnered with American Forests planted 94,000 hardwoods to reforest former soybean fields in the Cache River/Bayou DeView Watershed. Through this partnership Bottomland hardwood oak and cypress seedlings have been planted to complete the project. The watershed is listed as a Ramsar Wetland of international importance.
