This project is part of a six-city ‘Building Cities of Green’ tree-planting tour undertaken by American Forests, Eddie Bauer, and local non-profits. 100 trees were planted at the Cumberland interchange on the Kennedy Expressway, a highly visible location with approximately 200,000 vehicles passing a day on their way to Chicago’s O’Hare airport.
