This project planted 3000 trees throughout woodlands and parks within New York City, 3000 trees throughout Washington D.C., and 40 trees in Somerset County, PA in honor of victims of the September 11th attacks. Another project also planted trees in Arlington, Va for victims at the Pentagon. These plantings are made in clusters called Memorial Tree Groves.
