American Forests Forestbytes

In 2009, American Forests magazine marked its 115th year of publication with in-depth reporting on some of the most challenging threats to trees and forests, as well as hopeful efforts to protect and restore them.

From the under appreciated value of urban trees and how homeowners can help turn the tide against the loss of biodiversity, to the devastation of millions of acres of Western forests from mountain pine beetles, to a travel guide for viewing some of the nation’s largest trees, the magazine presented a wide range of topics, all available online at www.americanforests.org.    READ MORE
